Some Days after having worked for long hours, I just drop dead on the bed. These days are becoming more frequent. I have been working hard at the office, then creating content for my instagram. In the midst of it all, I look dull, tired and haggard most of the times.

I have started neglecting my skincare and stopped pampering myself altogether. I have so many cuticles and dead skin on my hands and feet that they irritate me. My glowing skin looks dull and lifeless. It has gotten an unhealthy tan which makes me look so weak.

The pandemic may currently be in a regression, but I still don’t feel like stepping out to parlours to get the grooming that I can easily get at home.

Did I try natural home remedies?

As you know I am a firm believer in herbal and home skin care. I think fruits like Papaya give the best glow. I also love using an exfoliant in the form of coffee grounds or sugar and salt. They work wonders for the skin. My very happy routine would be a deep exfoliation of dead cells. Followed by a papaya and honey face pack. Then close the facial routine with a good face serum.

While I know the drill, I love it too. Preparing everything from scratch, taking time out to apply them and then cleaning the home from all of it seems like a TASK. I just can’t do it.

But, it’s August!!!

August is a month of festivities. With Independence Day, Rakshabandhan and other festivities coming up, I realised I had to do something. I just couldn’t accept the lack of grooming. We women need to put ourselves first. In the month of August came this August realisation that why not use products which are natural and use my favorite ingredients?

I discovered VLCC!!!

My friend has been this huge advocate of VLCC products for a really long time. She kept telling me how good the products are and how they use natural extracts for giving a healthy skincare without damaging it with harsh chemicals.

I followed her advice and purchased a few of the VLCC products. The products I chose were:-

  • The VLCC hand and foot care kit or their manicure and pedicure kit.
  • The VLCC Papaya Fruit facial kit
  • The VLCC rejuvenating arabica coffee peel off mask and the coffee sugar scrub.
  • The VLCC Gold Facial Kit.

The VLCC manicure and pedicure kit

The kit contained- Pediglow Hand and Foot Cleanser, Myrrh Cuticle Oil, Pediglow hand and foot scrub, cocoa butter hand and foot cream and Orange anti-tan pack.It was a one hour pamper session for my hand and feet.

The product deeply and gently cleansed my hands and feet without drying it or making it harsh. The cuticle softener helped soften and remove the cuticles without any bloodshed. The smell of the orange anti-tan pack was extremely refreshing.

Overall it left my hand and legs feeling softer, cleaner and well loved. A big thumbs up for this.

The VLCC Papaya Fruit facial kit

I have always talked about the advantages of Papaya in skincare. Papaya evens skin tone, brightens the skin, removes the tan and makes the skin appear lighter, brighter and well loved. The kit had a comfrey cleanser cum toner, a papaya seed scrub, a cucumber gel, peach massage cream, orange anti-tan pack and oil free moisturising gel.

Not only did this facial kit help remove all impurities from my skin, it helped deeply exfoliate my skin without feeling harsh or damaging. I could see the difference at this level only. The I used the cucumber gel which calmed and relaxed my skin. My skin was already thanking me by now. The peach radiant cream was so sweet smelling, my face got a parlour like glow by the end of it. After the final anti-tan pack, my skin was singing my praises. Well, my husband too.

The VLCC rejuvenating arabica coffee peels off mask and the coffee sugar scrub.

This was my favorite, the aloevera gel, the coffee powder, the caffeine all helped my skin open up. It removed the dead cells from within and reduced my blackheads. It even helped my tone. This I used once a week, when I didn’t have time for a full facial. It gave me great results.

The VLCC Gold Facial Kit.

Well this is the gold standard in facial care and skin care. The use of Gold in facial care and skincare has been famous from the Cleopatran times. It gives a parlour like glow at home, and is apt for August, the festive season. You have to try this kit to know how it makes your skin sing and glow from within. Well I am super excited for the festive times now. My skin is singing, my hands and feet are happy and I have achieved parlour like glow at home. I invite you all to give my experience a try and use these VLCC products if you are pressed for time. Trust me, you deserve the best. Afterall, it’s the festi

  1. August is a month crammed with festivities and so is September. You are right, one needs to especially focus on grooming in these months. VLCC range or products look good, more so as they are based on natural ingredients. Sandy N Vyjay

  2. I have used VLCC products and I must say their home parlor kit is awesome. They have different types of facial kit too which is pretty reasonable. Loved this post

  3. I have tried a lot of VLCC Facial kit and am very fond of the Diamon one. I will try the Gold one too. The manicure and pedicure sets are useful too.

  4. These facial kits look really good. Perfect to use at home. But unfortunately VLCC never suited my skin. It might sound weird but I once tried a VLCC cream, but I started having pimples. However, I will try out this diamond one.

  5. I now think it is so important to take care of the skin. The fruits facial are definitely my thing as I love how refreshing and rejuvenating the effects are. I have not tried the VLCC products but will try to get them.

  6. I didn’t know that VLCC uses natural extracts for its skincare range. Will try this soon, after all who doesn’t want to maintain a healthy skincare regime … No one would ever want to damage their skin with harsh chemicals.
