Location: Summit Newa Regency & Spa, Pelling Temperature: 2-to-5-degree Celsius in winters (Dec- Feb) OOTD: A knitted cap and coral pink neck warmer with the sky blue open front jacket & a fanny pack for added style.

3. Rimbi River and Orange Garden

– Private garden with orange-laden trees on both sides of Rimbi River

– Locally made wine selling stalls all around

(Not the standard tourist spot)

4. Khechuperi Lake

– Undisturbed silence

– Home to unique birds

– Bamboo forests amplifies its beauty

(The holy lake for Hindus & Buddhists)

5. Kanchenjunga Waterfall

– a soothing green & white beauty

– 50 metres climb lined with tea & Maggi stalls

6. Pemayangtse Monastery (1705)

– One of the oldest & vital monasteries in Sikkim

– Houses a huge gold-plated statue of Guru Padsambhava

– And collection of wall paintings, sculptures & images

7. Rabdantse Ruins

– Remains of a beautiful palace at a distant elevation

– Destroyed by an invading Gorkha Army in 1814
