Myth - Ethical and sustainable fashion is expensive.

Fact - They are not as cheap as the polyester and other artificial fabric made fashion, but they aren’t expensive either.

Myth - Sustainable fashion is a trend only for Hippies and people with cause.

Fact - Wanting to save the world is not carrying a torch or propagating a motive. There are some really fashionable brands like Levi’s, Ralph Lauren Polo, H&M which are fashionable yet eco-friendly.

Myth - It is so difficult to find sustainable fashion.

Fact - Most ethnic wear customised are sustainable. Most local brands which are small labels are sustainable.

Local designers are eco-friendly. You just need a little research to realise how common they are becoming.

Myth - One needs to discard their existing fast forward wardrobes and then get sustainable fashion.

Fact - Any fast fashion that you can wear for a long time and can be easily handed down, is worth keeping. Sustainable fashion is a choice to avoid waste.

Myth - All clothes are recyclable.

Fact - Only sustainable or 100% pure clothes can be easily recycled. Clothes which are blended, especially those with polyester or other man made fabrics are very difficult to recycle.
