A pair of denims and a white T-shirt is my most comfortable outfit. Whether I am working in the office, shooting for hours or having a night out with my friends… this pair never disappoints me. If you are a 90’s kid, you will remember the brand ‘Ruff & Tuff’.
They actually lived up to their name and every kid I knew owned a pair. Did you know that they were manufactured by an Indian company called ‘Arvind’? They are India’s largest denim manufacturers and were the first one to bring the international denim fashion to domestic market at affordable rates. They were launched in 1995 and owned a large chunk of our childhood. If you want to refresh your memory, go look at your childhood album and all the denim pairs you owned back then. Isn’t it cute?
But… wait! Why am I telling you all this? Because they are now launching their online-only store at a pretty reasonable price. They have some very cool collection under their two brands, Ruff & Tuff and New Port. I was recently invited to their launch at Blu Radisson in Bangalore where I met some fellow fashion enthusiasts as well. We all had crazy fun at the launch and I picked up an amazing pair of denims and some casual T shirts. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I read the total checkout amount after my online shopping. You can buy a Ruff n Tuff jeans for just 400 Rs. It’s perfect for everyday wear, college kids and to survive those month ends with a tight budget. The lesser price doesn’t mean they compromise on their quality.
Ruff n Tuff has a huge collection of Polo T shirts, plaid shirts, solid colour Tees and a variety of denims. You can take your pick from Flipkart and sit back and wait for your order. Arvind Denims have upgraded their fashion game and want to make it digital friendly to reach their audience. I think it’s a great initiative to bring back the old fashion game to suit the requirements of the new generation.
Their ‘Newport’ brand also has a good collection of funky Tees, denims and other casual wear for men and women. Their prices start at a mere 399 and you covers all your fashion needs. I am in love with their collection and planning to fill my wardrobe with their denims and tops. I have recommended them to all my friends and had to share with you all.
The Collections so classy yet chic on the newport and rufandtuf as the name itself suggests is very manly and rugged !
The Event showcased a fashion show of both the brands and their ideologies and the designers also took us though the collections in detail on how each and every garment is made and how each and every process of garment making works ! It was such an enthralling show and we cant really wait for them to launch online !
