Flowers, Flowers and Flowers everywhere!
This spring season, I am obsessed with floral designs. The reason: A valley of flowers I saw on Facebook. With a dream of going to that pretty place in the Himalayas, I checked out its pictures, read on how to reach there, and what not! Flowers like orchids, poppies, primulas, marigolds, daises and anemones carpeting the ground!
I know each one of us somewhere or the other have been put down, in some form or the other but we silently just accept our fate again and again. I know we can’t do anything for tiny little things, but do you girls know that these things turn into a humongous issue one day? When you know, be clear about how you want to be treated. Yes, this might sound feminist, but so what? Never let anyone dull your sparkle.
Sitting in the train, I am here watching the beautiful Western Ghats and the vast plains of India. I have been wondering all along that we have such a beautiful country that is so huge and we have not utilised even 10% of it. Is it because we are scared to live alone in the nature once we come to the city and get comfortable in easier things and the hustle bustle of life that anything apart from the city feels very remote to us?
For some reason if you guys do decide to read my blog if All of you might be know that I’m not a person who likes pastels at all, even though people say it looks great on me but I feel that, it makes me look dark and dull. You know why I have that conception in mind?
Happy Women’s Day to all you ladies out there!
The first observance of a Women’s Day was held on February 28, 1909 in New York. March 8 was suggested by the 1910 International Woman’s Conference to become an “International Woman’s Day.”
As girls, we would see our brothers and their guy friends play on the roads. But yes even I used to join them and play cricket and hide & seek on the streets. It’s totally okay not to learn how to cook when you are in 3rd standard. As women, it’s totally okay to wear shorts and play basketball and dream of becoming sportswomen later in life. When I was a young girl, traditions never restricted me. For me anything that my brother could do meant I could do too.
What is valentine’s day all about? It means to be and celebrate with someone you love or doing something you love! When I was a kid, my mum used to give me crayons and a paper and make me sit in a corner and I would spend the whole day with it. I loved to do that, this is from when I was a 4-year-old kid. My me time would be to just sit with all kinds of paints and all artsy stuff and be myself. I would look forward for this time of the day every day!
Bollywood and Hollywood have influenced us so much in every inch of our lives, isn’t it?
A girl would want to have a destination wedding, in goa or In Italy seeing the beautiful and dainty décor, the way they portray how one should dream about a wedding, or for that matter they teach us how to dream and make it happen.
It’s about to be New Year peeps, and what are your plans? We all have different plans I know; some want to go around partying, some go on a long nature trek, some travel, some enjoy at home with family and friends.
Aren’t there days when you are like, oh gosh why do I have to go to office? Or man, I really don’t feel like dressing up. But, you have no choice in life left and you really need to dress up and give your best. I am this person who really hates getting waxed.
