I have been born and bought up in Bangalore, specifically Malleshwaram & Rajajinagar area! To be frank, I have seen how Bangalore has grown up with me! Initially it was all gardens and parks and fountains, these were the Sunday spots we all generally would go, spend time in the greenery and laze around and chill with family and friends.
A few years ago, may be around 15 years, there was nothing like a mall, all we would do is go to Cubbon Park or Lalbagh, go to Commercial Street or sometimes Brigade Road for fun and entertainment. And generally, when we shopped, everything was not under one roof, the maximum we could find something under one roof would be say like a shopping plaza.
Being a Bangalorean, I have seen malls getting planned and built in front of my eyes. And Bangalore has right now over 25 malls all over the city which is such a whooping number keeping in mind the area a mall requires!
One of the first malls I visited was the Orion mall in Rajajinagar, which is like the most premium mall in Bangalore. The Best part about it is that, it upholds the true value of Old Bangalore in a small way that it has a lake with a fountain.
Apart from that the whole Orion Group has come up with such a unique concept that the house and workplace to be nearby, so they have a beautiful society and the World Trade Center, Sheraton Grande and of course the Orion Mall which is not even 2 minutes away from the Metro station too!
And also, if you are a person who looks for the best shopping experience hassle free and looking for premium brands this the one stop destination. I always come here to shop only because of the ease of access to all the brands and delicious food and you can go chill in the spa, if not go for a movie. Orion mall also has a kids Play area, also there is Bowling alley ! Its literally a one stop entertainment, shopping and a family destination.
